Rules
The artbid board is a public ranking: you pay to stand above. The card is built from the link you send: title, text and thumbnail. The bid only counts after payment is confirmed.
How rank moves
- Bids are whole US dollars. Minimum $5, then $1 at a time.
- Paying less than #1 still puts you on the board at the rank that bid can take.
- Equal bids: whoever arrived first stays above.
- To raise your own listing, use the same link or the same @. You pay only the difference.
- To take #1, the bid must be at least $1 above the current top.
What can enter
- Artist links: YouTube, Spotify, SoundCloud, Bandcamp, Vimeo, Instagram, a site, or an @ on X.
- No chat invites: Telegram, WhatsApp, Discord, Signal.
- No adult content.
- Shorteners are refused.
After payment
- The card is public. Clicks go to the URL you gave.
- The bid only counts after Stripe confirms the payment.
- Card in USD. Email is collected on Stripe Checkout.
FAQ
Can I pay less than the current #1?
Yes. Any bid of $5 or more places you on the board at the rank that bid can take — even if the top spot is far above you.
Can I raise my own rank later?
Yes. Submit the same link or the same @ and pay only the difference to your current bid.
Why do equal bids rank by arrival time?
The board favors whoever committed first. Ties are broken by created_at, so the earlier card stays above.
What happens after I pay?
Stripe confirms the payment, the card goes public with your link, and every click on it goes to your URL. The ranking updates immediately.
